Scott McGill started McGill Professional Law Corporation in 1980. He received his B.A. from Amherst College and his J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law. He was licensed to practice law by the Colorado Supreme Court in 1977 and has practiced in Steamboat Springs since that time. Scott is admitted to practice law before all State and Federal trial courts in Colorado, the Tenth District Court of Appeals, the United States Tax Court, and the United States Supreme Court. He focuses mainly on civil cases, with the primary goal of resolving disputes through negotiation and discussion, then mediation, and finally trial or arbitration if necessary. He loves his job and is passionate about his cases and his clients. In his spare time he enjoys family activities, travel, boating, skiing, hockey, and hunting.
