Bob Grover brings both legal experience and a business background to McGill Professional Law Corporation, having been an independent oil operator for over twenty years, and a majority shareholder in his previous law firm for sixteen years.
Bob received his B.S. in Petroleum Geology and Geophysics from the University of Wisconsin in 1969, with postgraduate studies in geophysics, stratigraphy and paleontology. After a successful career as an independent oil operator, he chose to change professions and obtained his J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 1989, serving as Assistant Editor of the South Texas Law Review and State Bar of Texas Corporate Law Review.
He is admitted to practice in all Texas state courts, the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Texas, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Joining the Colorado State Bar in 2001, he is admitted to practice before all Colorado courts.
Bob’s attention to detail and research skills have contributed greatly to MPLC. With Northwest Colorado’s growing senior population, Bob has quickly found his niche in the practice area of elder law, including Medicare and Medicaid appeals.
He serves as President of Horizons Specialized Services, Inc., and Running Bear Homeowners Association. He is also active with the Steamboat Mountain Masters Ski Guides and Spellbinders of Steamboat Springs.
His spare time is occupied with skiing, hiking, travel, grand kids and a serious addiction to bridge.
